Of intense color, aroma of ripe wild berries such
as blueberries and blackberries. In the mouth,
presents complexity and structure denoting
refined, fine and elegant tannins. A bitter chocolate
finish that extends.
Store in a horizontal position in a cool place, away
from direct light. It should be served between
16oC and 18oC. It perfectly accompanies roasted
dishes. For a combination with the typical Alentejo
gastronomy, we recommend game dishes such as
wild pigeon pie or stewed chicken.
This wine is made from grapes from a century-
old vine with several grape varieties, in half of its
lot. To complement, Syrah, Alicante Bouschet,
Cabernet Sauvignon and Touriga Nacional grape
varieties were used. It ages in French oak barrels
for eighteen months.
The grapes were fully destemmed by hand,
followed by cold maceration for 48 hours. The
fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats
at under controlled temperature with gentle
assemblies and prolonged fermentation for 1
month with submerged blanket in the last 5 days.
